My mom did not have to get the port procedure done on Monday. Her liver levels have stabilized and the port had many possible risks. She felt like this decision was another one of God's mercies.
She has started on a new treatment plan with a drug that will target the tumors, hopefully keep them from growing, and possibly shrink them. The doctors said it will take 2 treatments before they can tell if the drug is helping. She receives the drug through a 20 minute infusion at MDA every other week. Her second infusion takes place on December 15.
We started this page to keep people informed. She feels so much love from everyone and feels bad that she can't get back to everyone like she would like to, but she is not feeling well enough to do that right now.
